To sit on the terrace of this beachfront restaurant, facing the sea, is to never want to leave. To root the space in its local context, an antique map unfurls beneath diners’ feet in the form of a custom-printed carpet. Blending the fresh, luminous colors of the map with delicate engravings of seaweed straight from botanical books, the team at Bachmann & Associés created a motif of subtle elegance and perfect harmony—one we reproduced with the utmost fidelity.
